Horsham Dancers Club is a family run dance school in Horsham, West Sussex founded in 1953. We specialise in Ballroom & Latin American Dance styles. We offer dancing opportunities for everybody from absolute beginners to professionals.
Whether you are looking for a fun hobby, to get some light exercise or to socialise we have a dance class for you. We offer dancing for children and adults in group lessons and private tuition. We offer beginner courses each term and more specialist lessons including wedding dance preparation. Our team of highly trained and experienced dance teachers will help you every step of the way into your journey of dancing.

We have lots of options for BEGINNERS. On Tuesdays evenings we offer courses which are pre-booked and drop-in classes on a Thursday evening which are pay-as-you-go. For those with some experience we also offer courses on Tuesday evenings or a drop-in class on a Friday evening. The choice is yours to suit your schedule and/or budget!
Courses must be pre-booked and paid for in full in advance but dancers are most welcome to any other sessions during the period of the course in lieu of any missed sessions. All weekly classes are pay-as-you-go, you can pay by cash or card on arrival.
Looking for something a little different, why not try one of our Dance Solo classes open to all dancers, or relax with friends at our Monthly Coffee Morning Dance.
Dancers are welcome to all our sessions with or without a partner. At our Classes and Courses those that come with a partner can stay with their partner all night - we don't force couples to swap partners. If you don't have a partner that's not a problem. Although we can't always guarantee even numbers, we'll do our best to make sure you get plenty of dances. You do not need a partner for our Solo Sessions.

ADULT COURSES
We offer regular courses ranging from 4 to 15 weeks throughout the year at Millais School Main Hall.
A place can be reserved for you on our forthcoming courses, send us your application details and payment, your booking will be confirmed and enjoy your dancing journey.
Each course is structured to guide you through all the Ballroom & Latin Dances - Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble & Jive - so you can enjoy every moment of one of our end of term Special Events.
Level 1: Basics. suitable for New Beginners, Absolute Beginners, Beginners & Beyond.
Level 2: Improvers, suitable for all dancers with some previous experience.
WEEKLY CLASSES
DROP-IN CLASS FOR BEGINNERS & ONWARDS
Thursday evenings we run regular weekly drop-in classes at the British Legion Band Hall, which is situated at the far end of the BT Exchange Car Park behind the Capitol Theatre. Absolute Beginners starts 7 p.m. The evening then runs continuously until 9.00 p.m. each half hour a little more advanced than the last. Classes are payable on the door, £8 for 1 hour, £10 for 1.5 hours and £12 for 2 hours, per person or monthly subscriptions are available. If you decide to stay longer than planned, you just pay the extra on your way out .
We welcome new dancers throughout the year to our Thursday evening sessions so if this would suit you just come one evening, no booking needed.
You will be asked to complete a membership form on your first vist but you are most welcome to try the evening as a guest member, pay for the class and complete your membership payment the following week.
Under 10 & Under 18 COURSES
Now is your great opportunity to let your child discover the wonderful world of Ballroom Dancing! We offer weekly group classes to provide a fun, productive and rewarding experience which allows each child to develop and grow individually. No prior dance experience is necessary!
Sessions are offered half-termly and are suitable for young people aged between 6-10 years and 11-17 years, all abilities, and new dancers are welcome.

DANCE SOLO
Ballroom & Latin style dancing without a partner.
Enjoy low-impact exercise with a little technique.
A great way to learn Ballroom & Latin styles without needing a partner. All ages & abilities welcomed.
50 minute sessions, including a selection of dances based on Latin American, Ballroom, Classical & Freestyle rhythms, such as Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Salsa or Jive suitable for solo dancing.
NO BOOKING REQUIRED. Just come along.

VARIATIONS CLASS
Our Friday evening sessions are designed for slightly more experienced social dancers and medallists. We look at popular variations in all Ballroom & Latin American dances, the evening also includes a short practice session with advice on hand.
Sessions run regular weekly at the British Legion Band Hall, which is situated at the far end of the BT Exchange Car Park behind the Capitol Theatre.
NO BOOKING REQUIRED (members only). Just come along.

PERSONAL TUITION
Personal Tuition is tailored to suit your needs, providing a personalised approach and pace with one-to-one guidance.

We offer personal tuition ost weekdays days, 30 mins or longer on an ad-hoc or regular basis. Monday, Tuesday & Wednesdays lessons are held at Lower
Beeding Village Hall. Thursday and Friday lessons are held at the RBL Band Hall, Horsham.
ISessions are not available at times when classes are running.
Message for more information and availability, the diary can change rapidly sometimes so always ask and we will try to accommodate you wherever possible.
Lessons maybe shared by up to 2 couples at no additional charge. Group Rates available on request
