Welcome to Horsham Dancers Club. We're delighted that you've found us!  Based on the current government guidelines we are very exciting to be dancing again :


12th April onwards - Personal Tuition, one household only, available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

17th May onwards:

  • Dance Solo sessions recommence every Friday.
  • Latin Couples & Sequence Couples recommence every Sunday.
  • Dance Safe 4 week COURSE Level 1 Basics & Level 2 Refresher every Tuesday.

21st June - subject to venue ability and social distancing guidelines we hope to recommence all our other weekly activities.


Competitions - in view of the ever changing situation we hope to recommence our competition days in 2022 or earlier if possible.

Sadly many of our classes, courses and events are currently still closed due to COVID-19 but we are offering dancers as many opportunities as we can. 


Based on UKAdance guidelines dancers may only dance socially distanced - solo or with a dance partner from the same household/bubble/fixed partnership and you must make sure not to dance into someone else's vapour trail.

Personal Tuition is on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Only a couple from the same household/bubble or fixed partnership may dance together. Solo lessons may be booked but our instructors will not be able to partner you.
Lessons may be booked for a minimum of 1 hour or longer. Please understand you won't be able to dance for the full hour, dancers will be invited in at their allocated lesson time and not before and lessons will end 5 minutes early. These measures allow for hand washing, screening, changing shoes etc. In addition there will be a 10 minute interval between lessons for your instructor to complete hygiene procedures and ensure social distancing.


50 minute sessions, including a selection of dances based on Latin American & Ballroom/Classical rhythms, such Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Salsa or Jive suitable for solo dancing. Each participant will be allocated an area marked out in the main hall, please remain in your own area throughout the session.  Currently scheduled:


Daytime Session - 3.30 pm Friday afternoons

Evening Group 1 - 7 pm Friday evenings

Evening Group 2 - 8 pm Friday evenings


Over 18's all ages and abilities welcome. Maximum 6 dancers per session.  Sign up today or contact for further information.

1 hour sessions. Latin sessions include a selection of Latin dances which may include Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso or Jive. An instructor is on hand to provide assistance. Each couple will be allocated an area marked out in the main hall, please remain in your own area throughout the session. Sequence sessions will include a selection of the most popular dances with a short walk-through. 


Sequence Couples Session - 3.30 pm Sunday

Latin Couples Session  - 4.40 pm Sunday

At Home Zoom Sessions

Informal Sessions for all our members and friends. Each session lasts 30 minutes and is designed for dancing at home with limited space.

£15 per calendar month per household for unlimited access.

Primarily the routines are Latin based but also a few adaptations of some popular Ballroom Sequence dances.  Join in or dance whatever you like, solo or with a partner.

Dance Safe COURSES

We are delighted to confirm we will be returning to Millais from Tuesday 25th May.


·         Dates: Every Tuesday for 4 weeks, 25th May to 15th June inclusive.

·         Venue: Millais School Main Hall

·         Times: Level 1 Basics 18:40 or Level 2 Refresher 19:40.

·         Cost: Members £30 per person. Non-Members £35 per person


There will be a maximum of 12 couples at each class, apologies no single dancers at this time


All activities are subject to our COVID-19 Risk Assessment Guidelines.

All dancers will be asked to complete a screening checklist. Please do NOT attend if you are sick, required to isolate or have travelled abroad in the last 14 days.

We are currently based only at Lower Beeding Village Hall. There is an NHS QR code available for those using the app.

  • All sessions must be pre-booked.
  • Please wash or sanitise your hands regularly, particularly on arrival and when touching anything in the hall.
  • Wherever possible windows and doors will be kept open so please dress suitably.
  • Face coverings should be worn on entry and exit but need not be worn whilst dancing.
  • Please wear dance shoes or similar if possible - there is a strict footwear policy at the hall, no stillettoes or similar.
  • Only the designated toilet may be used.
  • 48 hour cancellation policy applicable to all bookings unless you have been advised or are required to self-isolate.
  • Cash payments should be avoided wherever possible. Preferably please make bank transfers prior to your lesson. We will have a new contactless/card payment machine which will be available on arrival if you need it.

WEDDINGS & Special Events

We also offer Latin and Ballroom dance tuition for those who need to learn the basics for public events such as weddings and balls.  We can choreography a routine specifically for you and keep it very simple if that is what you need or add a little flair for that special occasion to your chosen music or we can help with that too!


Edwin Hall is currently closed. We hope to resume new COVID-secure classes as soon as possible
